Recently, two Huawei Nova 8 series phones with model numbers such as JSC-AN00 / TN00 and HJC-AN00 / TN00 were approved by the TENAA authority of China. However, no details on the specs of these phones are available yet on TENAA. Earlier this week, the JSC-AN00 phone bagged certification from the 3C authority of China which revealed that it could be shipping with a 66W fast charger. Now, the same phone has been benchmarked on Geekbench. The listing suggests that the JSC-AN00 / TN00 model number could belong to the Huawei Nova 8 SE smartphone. It appears that the Chinese manufacturer could be testing the performance of the device on the benchmarking platform before making it official.

Recently, a Chinese tipster had revealed that the Huawei Nova 8 SE will be available in two CPU variants. The base model will be fueled by the Dimensity 720 chipset, whereas the top version will be driven by the Dimensity 800U. The At Geekbench 4, listing shows that the JSC-AN00 phone is powered by the MediaTek MT6853V/TNZA, which indicates it features the Dimensity 720 chipset that has a base frequency of 2GHz. Hence, it appears that the Nova 8 SE’s base model has appeared on Geekbench. The handset scored 2837 and 7093 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
