Asus India launched a flagship smartphone Zenfone 5Z, 3 months before and they sold around 1 million units in this year, that would be a true flagship smartphone also, a competitor for OnePlus device, and today again Asus comes up with a new product launch globally through India, this time Asus brings up two smartphone device in terms of midrange segment, it could be a competitor for Xiaomi Redmi 5A & 6A smartphones, let’s check it would be a real competitor.

Today Asus launched these two midrange budget segment smartphones Zenfone Lite A1 & Zenfone Max M1 in the launch event with the tag line Whatte performance! & Whatte Powerhouse!

The Zenfone A1 & M1 has powered up with Snapdragon 430 Octo core chipset an 8 core ARM Cortex A53 processor with an CPU speed of up to 1.4 GHz also, this processor has Adreno 505 graphic process unit that supports for playing higher end games even at low power consumption and a better performance.

Asus M1 & A1 has custom UI of ZenUI 5 that introduced in the flagship 5Z, based on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, the custom UI has close to stock Android and it has pre-installed only 3 application and it has a support of customise navigation, parallel application for Max M1 device, battery management, clean new UI and no ads in UI.

Asus Zenfone Lite A1 comes up with 2 Giga byte of RAM memory and 16 Giga byte of storage variant and it expandable up to 256 Giga byte through a SD card support and coming to Zenfone Max M1 it has 3 Giga byte of RAM & 32 Giga byte of internal storage also, expandable with SD card support up to 256 GB, the both smartphones are build up with hybrid SIM slot it supports two-Nano SIM and SD card support.

Asus offering a free cloud storage for these two devices up to 100 Giga bytes of storage in Google drive, these is a good move from Asus because these users no need to buy an additional storage from Google drive, since for a normal user will get only 15 GB of storage in the drive to backup the important memories, photography, spreadsheets etc.,

The both Asus Zenfone A1 & M1 has 5.45-inch HD+ with 18:9 display, IPS panel with 1440*720 resolution and 82% of screen to body ratio, the both smartphones comes up with Gold & Black colour variant.

Now moving to the camera the Asus A1 & M1 has 13 MP rear pixel master camera with F/2.0 aperture size, and it has 1.12 micro lens, the lens with this configuration is more sensitive to the light so it could be a better picture quality even in low light conditions, the both smartphones are supported for Portrait mode, Live filters, FHD support video recording, HDR mode, Beauty mode, Panorama, Time-lapse video recording.

The front shooter has 5MP sensor in the Zenfone A1 & 8MP selfie shooter in the M1 with F/2.0 aperture size and 1.12-micron pixel size and both the smartphones has front LED flashlight and supported for Portrait mode, Live filters, FHD support video recording, HDR mode, Beauty mode, Panorama, Time lapse video recording

The Zenfone A1 has face Unlock security to unlock your smartphone, and this device is not supported for finger print scanning as like Realme 1 & C1, due to reduce the price the manufacturer Skipping FPS mounting in the midrange segment device. The M1 has both face unlocking and finger print scanning feature. Asus uses the camera to unlock the facial expression.

The Zenfone Lite has power packed with 3000 mAH battery and Max M1 has 4000 mAH battery backup and M1 has feature of Reverse charging support, that using Max device the user can able to charge the any other device through Max battery backup.
