Last month ASUS announced that Max Pro M1 & M2 and Max M2 smartphone will receive stable Android Pie update on 15th April. As promised ASUS now rolled out the Android Pie update for those Smartphones earlier than targeted date. And the update is rolled out batch wise so, update will not receive for all users at the same time. It could be rolled out for each users batch by batch. Also, you’ll be notified when the OTA received.
The pie version will bring the Adaptive battery feature and if Asus may bring the screen time management will be good one, the Max Pro M2 (Unboxing) has 5000mAH battery capacity further with this additional feature will reduces the power consumption results in good battery life.
Max Pro M2 Specification, Overview & Availability
Max Pro M2 (Review) has 6.26 FHD+ IPS display with smaller Notch design and having 19:9 aspect ratio with 2280*1080 screen resolution. The device is made of polycarbonate plastic at the back & side and designed with 3D glass like texture in the rear panel with wave design. The Asus Max Pro M2 has powered by snapdragon 660 Octo core processor having kyro 260 CPU cores. And the device is runs as Stock Android based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Max Pro M2 comes in three memory variant and the configuration are 3GB + 32GB base variant, 4GB + 64GB & 6GB + 64GB RAM & ROM respectively and the device has a support for dedicated micro SD card. In camera department Asus downgrade the specifications compared to the Pro M2, this time they bring up dual rear camera setup having primary 12MP Sony IMX486 image sensor with F1.8 aperture size and 1.25um pixel size and the secondary 5MP depth sensor. Moving to front facing it has 13MP sensor with F2.0 aperture size and 1.12um pixel size.
