The best update from WhatsApp is a WhatsApp payment, now you can send money from your WhatsApp account to another WhatsApp account using a UPI method, as, like chatting you can make a payment but the mobile number used for WhatsApp should be linked with any of the bank accounts to make UPI payments. WhatsApp is supported by more than 160 Banks including Government & Private Banks. WhatsApp pay is live for India and it will be available to all stable users starting from today. This is a staged rollout so will reach all users one by one. 

How to Link Bank Account in WhatsApp

  • Go to Settings > Payments
  • Select your Bank ( Mobile number registered for WhatsApp & bank account should be same )
  • Confirm your account number with the bank. & select the account.
  • That’s it Bank account added.
 

How to Send Payments via WhatsApp

Now to make a payment you can manage the options in two ways, 
  • Go to Settings > Payments > New Payment.
  • Go to Chat user > Attachment > Payments.

How to Send UPI Payments in WhatsApp

  • Go settings > Payments > New payments
  •  Enter valid UPI ID 
  • Confirm your UPI & select make payments.
  • Now enter the amount & click the send arrow.
  • Enter the UPI pin created for the bank account.
  • That’s it Payment successful.

Now to send money to Whatsapp users, the user must register with a bank account in WhatsApp payments, then proceed as below,
  • Go to Chat user > Attachment > Payments.
  • Enter the amount you wish to pay.
  • Click send as like WhatsApp message sending.
  • Enter the UPI pin.
  • That’s it amount will be sent.
Whatsapp payments will be rolled out to all users in India this new update from Whatsapp is interesting that hereafter can make chat & send money instantly using WhatsApp itself, also the possibility of updating KYC details is preferred in future, this will stop & destroy the fake WhatsApp accounts.
