After a long pause, Lenovo is finally ready to launch the next iteration of its Note series of devices – the Lenovo K12 Note. This budget player will come with some good specs for the price. Diving deep into the internals, the smartphone will pack in a good display, a massive 5000mAh battery, a mid-range Snapdragon chipset, good cameras, and more

Lenovo K12 Note leaked images

As seen in the images above, the Lenovo K12 Note appears to come in at least two colour options. The phone has the same rear camera array like the one you saw on the Moto G9 Play. The minor change here is the absence of the ‘M’ logo on the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Instead, you will see a vertical ‘Lenovo’ branding on the bottom left corner of the phone. According to Sudhanshu, the Lenovo K12 Note is near-identical to the Moto G9 Play in almost all aspects. One difference he did talk about, though, was the lack of 20W fast charging on the K12 Note. Instead, the phone supports 15W fast charging – and most possibly – will ship with a 15W charger.

Lenovo K12 Note Specifications and Features

The Lenovo K12 Note is expected to feature with a large 6.5 inch IPS LCD display tipped with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of 270ppi. The bezel-less display will reportedly sport an immersive waterdrop notch design with an aspect ratio of 20:9.

Thanks to the aforementioned Google Play listing, we already know that the Lenovo K12 Note will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. The variant that showed up there also featured 4GB of RAM. There could be other variants of the phone with higher or lower RAM.

The Lenovo K12 Note will reportedly house a triple camera setup on the back with a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP camera, and another 2MP sensor onboard. On the front, the smartphone is likely to pack in an 8MP selfie shooter. Features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, and Touch to focus will also be present on the device.

Fuelling the device will be a massive 5000mAh Li-ion battery with 15W fast charging on board. The Lenovo K12 Note will ship with Android 10 out of the box. Further, the smartphone will arrive with a host of connectivity options including Dual sim VoLTE (Nano + Nano(Hybrid)), Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.0. The device will also pack in a 3.5mm headphone jack, a fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port.

As of now, this is pretty much all we know about the Lenovo K12 Note. It remains unclear if the company has plans to launch this phone in India.
