Android Central had spilled the beans that the Chinese smartphone maker is prepping yet another surprise dubbed as the OnePlus Nord SE which is likely to break cover during the first-quarter of 2021. OnePlus Nord SE launch is expected soon after OnePlus 9. Among the three Nord series smartphones we currently have, the upcoming OnePlus Nord SE is said to lie closer towards the OnePlus Nord in terms of specs.
The report adds that the OnePlus Nord SE “codenamed Ebba” will sport an AMOLED display. OnePlus Nord SE will borrow the the Warp Charge 65 fast charging solution that is used on the flagship OnePlus 8T. OnePlus Nord SE will also feature a 4,500mAh battery like the OnePlus 8T. This means the smartphone should fully charge in about 40 minutes. The upcoming mid-range smartphone is also said to draw its power from a Snapdragon 765G-powered Nord, making it 5G ready.
However, it is unclear whether the device will support a high refresh rate or not but we can expect the Nord SE to come with a 90Hz refresh rate display. Other Nord SE specs like cameras and chipset are still under wraps. Needless to say, we can certainly expect it to come with an ultra-competitive pricing just like the rest of the Nord series devices.
According to the report, the smartphone will be launching in India and Europe.
