Oppo has just announced the A73 in Tunisia and listed it on its website without much in terms of a formal announcement. The Oppo A73 is a new brand of the Oppo F17, which went on sale in India in September. But if you dig a little into our database, you will find an Oppo A73 from 2017, which was a localized variant of the Oppo F5 Youth, both of which have no bearing on the Oppo A73 today.

The Oppo A73 for Tunisia has a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 1080x2400px, with a built-in optical fingerprint scanner and a teardrop for the 16MP selfie camera. There is a Snapdragon 662 chipset with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB built-in storage.

The device features a waterdrop notch display of 6.44 inches. The AMOLED screen produces a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 60Hz refresh rate, and up to 180Hz refresh rate. It comes with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone offers a screen space of 90.7 percent. The OPPO A73 that sports a leather-textured rear has 159.8 x 72.9 x 7.45mm dimensions and it weighs 163 grams.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 mobile platform fuels the device with 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It comes with 128 GB of UFS 2.0 storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage. It offers users with other features such as dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The OPPO A73 has a Sony IMX471 16-megapixel camera for capturing selfie shots. The square-shaped camera housing of the smartphone has a 16-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with 119-degree FOV, and a pair of 2-megapixel mono lenses. The device is backed by a 4,015mAh battery that supports VOOC 4.0 30W fast charging.

The ColorOS 7.2 based Android 10 OS comes preinstalled on the OPPO A73.  The smartphone is now officially listed on the OPPO Tunisia website, but its pricing is not known yet. The handset has landed in the country has a rebranded version of the OPPO F17 phone that debuted in India last month.
