POCO & Realme confirmed removal of Banned China Apps & enabling option to uninstall Bloatware Apps
Recently, as per the GOI instruction, 59 Chinese apps are banned to use in India and it officially removed from the Google Play Store & Apple Apps Store. But these apps are still pre-installed on the newly launched smartphones in the form of bloatware. For Instance, the recent launch of POCO M2 Pro is pre-installed with some of the banned china apps. Also, most of the phones from different brands like Redmi, Realme, Poco, Vivo, & Oppo are always launches with bloatware. Also, the pre-installed apps are not able to uninstall from the device by a user.
So, regarding this firstly POCO reacted for the issues experienced by the end-user and officially announced the news that “They are confirmed to remove all banned China apps in their smartphone in the next OTA update also, accepted to giving the option to uninstall the bloatware apps from the device”. So, this new OTA update will be soon released for all POCO devices like POCO F1, POCO X2, & POCO M2 Pro Smartphones. Similarly, newly launched smartphones will also, not installed with any bloatware type apps in upcoming POCO smartphones.
Similarly, in the same vein, Realme is also, officially announced the same statement from their side. Likewise, the brand is recently launched the Realme 6i smartphone which is not pre-installed with any banned China apps as per GOI instruction. Also, for other pre-installed apps given an uninstall option. So, users can uninstall or keep it as per their wish.
But still, there are no words from Redmi, Vivo & Oppo side about the bloatware apps & pre-installed banned apps on their mobiles. Will confirm and update if any news related to this meanwhile, what your thoughts about this issue guys, let me know in the comments section,
