Redmi all set to launch the Redmi 8A mobile soon in India, its the upgrade of Redmi 7A which launched earlier in India. Instead of global launch, the Redmi 8A planned to launch in India very first. Meanwhile, before ahead of the launch the Redmi India GM announced the camera sensor equipped in the Redmi 8A. The Redmi 8A camera sensor is the one which is already used in the many flagship mobiles like POCO F1, VIVO NEX, ASUS Zenfone 5Z, and Xiaomi MI 8.

The Redmi 8A camera sensor equipped with incredible Sony IMX363 camera sensor with 1.4μm Large Pixel & 2PD!. It sports with 12-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera. However, the Redmi 8A has redesigned the mobile completely compared to its predecessor. The Redmi 8A come with dew drop notch display and moved the camera module from top-left to top-center. 

It powered by Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor, 2GHz clock speed. Combined with 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage. Similarly, in addition, it has 3GB + 32GB & 4GB + 64GB storage variant will be offered. Also, it has dedicated SD card slot with 512GB of memory support.

It runs on top with MIUI 10 based on Android Pie out of box and it powers with 5000mAH battery with Type-C port, 10W fast charging support. It comes in the dimension of 156.3*75.4*9.4mm and available in Blue & Black in colors. In terms of connectivity, it supports 3.5mm audio jack, dedicated SD card slot, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, & dual Nano SIM with dual VoLTE.

The Redmi 8A price is rumored to be starts at Rs. 6,499 for 2GB + 16GB memory variant. Similarly, in addition, it has 3GB + 32GB & 4GB + 64GB storage variants which priced for Rs. 6,999 & Rs. 8,999 respectively.
