What’s in the Box
Out from Galaxy M10 box having M10 device in 3GB RAM & 32GB internal storage configuration, micro USB cable with 5V Samsung Travel Adapter, SIM ejector PIN and some paper works like quick start guides, warranty cards. And here Samsung didn’t offer protective film, protective cover in the box.
Display & Design
Samsung this time delivers a good design with premium look in the budget segment itself by bringing the Galaxy M10 with 7.7mm thin & sleek design made of polycarbonate plastic material crafted with Ocean Blue & Charcoal Black color variant. It has thin bezels at sides and having quite minimum level of chin then other button and ports like on top microphone, at the right volume rockers, power button, in bottom micro USB port creamed in between 3.5mm headphone jack & secondary noise cancellation, then by left having 3 slots block which has supported with two Nano SIM’s and a dedicated SD card slot for additional storage. And at the back dual camera with soft LED flash mounted at top-left portrait.
On front the Galaxy M10 sports a 6.22-inch FHD+ Infinity display with 90% screen to body ratio and 19:9 aspect ratio with V notch at the top which housed with a front shooter and used for face unlocking. With 6.22-inch screen you can experience the full view display in watching videos and playing games. Also, the Galaxy M10 has Wide Vine L1 certification which gives the HD content stream.
The Galaxy M10 has dual camera setup on the rear having 13MP Primary camera with F1.9 aperture united with 5MP 120degree ultra wide-angle sensor. And for the front shooter the Galaxy M10 has 5MP Camera in F2.0 aperture. It supported for In-Display Flash for front camera and soft LED flash for rear camera too.
On capturing few snaps with Galaxy M10 which output quite good shots in both front & rear at natural and artificial lighting but not awesome, and here uploaded some sample shots captured in Galaxy M10 take a look at below,
Processor, Memory & Battery
Galaxy M10 is powered with Samsung native processor Exynos 7870 Octa core chipset in SoC architecture with Eight Cortex A53 cores clocks at 1.6GHz speed and united with Mali T830 MP1 GPU for graphical performance. And the device is baked in 2GB + 16GB & 3GB + 32GB memory configuration of RAM & ROM respectively. Its run on Samsung experience V9.5 UI on top based on Android 8.1 Oreo then the Samsung UI experience looks cool and hassle-free access to options but here we feel that missing of some important features like double tap or lift up the device to awake the screen, and we are on track in further for in-depth review.
It has power packed with 3400 mAH battery chargeable through micro USB port with 5V adaptor and for security it protected with face unlock feature which unlocks the device using the 5MP selfie camera. The accuracy of face recognition is quite good it takes more than 1 seconds to unlock the device also, the Galaxy M10 has no support for finger print scanning.
