Samsung has silently added a new smartphone in its Galaxy M-series called the Galaxy M31 Prime. The newly launched handset comes with highlighted features like bigger battery, quad-camera setup, waterdrop notch, and more among the others. The Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime comes in Ocean Blue colour option in India is priced at Rs 16,499 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The company has also listed a 128GB storage variant on the Amazon microsite, but the company is yet to reveal the price.

Starting from the display the company is yet to reveal the information regarding the size of the display. The Samsung Galaxy M31 Prime flaunts a Super AMOLED display with waterdrop notch design. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 chipset, clubbed with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The handset is backed by a 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. You can also expand the storage up to 512GB via microSD card.
As for Camera concern, Upfront, the smartphone houses a 32-megapixel camera sensor that sits underneath the waterdrop notch. Over the rear the Galaxy M31 packs a rectangular-shaped quad-rear camera setup placed at the top left corner of the back panel. The camera sensor includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel (f/2.4) ultra-wide angle sensor with 123-degree of ‘field of view’, a 5-megapixel (f/2.4) macro sensor, and a 5-megapixel (f/2.2) depth sensor supported by an LED flash.
As far as batteries are concerned, the Galaxy M31 Prime is fuelled by a massive 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast Type-C charging support. With the dual SIM support the handset runs on Android 10 operating system out of the box.
