The recent launches from VIVO brand has bring the big innovation in smartphone industry by bringing the V15 Pro and its lite version V15 smartphone. Both devices have ditched the notch completely and discover the elevating popup mechanism for selfie camera to increase the screen to body ratio. The both smartphones are having almost similar specification in different price category. So, in this article we let you know the top seven differences between Pro & Non-Pro version.


The VIVO V15Pro & V15 are available the price of Rs. 28,990 & Rs. 23,990 respectively. Both devices are crafted in two unique colors in that V15Pro has Topaz blue & Ruby Red and the V15 has Frozen Black & Glamour Red colors are available on sale. And currently the Non-Pro version didn’t open for sale but you can pre-book from 25th March, then the both devices are sold through Flipkart Online Shopping. (V15Pro & V15)


The both V15Pro & V15 has offered in 6GB RAM memory by default but the Pro version has 128GB of Internal storage but the non-pro version comes with 64GB as internal storage then both the devices can expand the memory with the help of dedicated SD card slot which supports up to 256GB as additional storage.


Here both devices have achieved more than 90% of screen to body ratio by ditching the notch at the top, then minimum chin at the bottom and shifting the selfie camera to the top using elevating pop-up mechanism and hidden the proximity & other sensors.

The Pro version sports with 6.39-inch AMOLED display where the Non-Pro version has 6.53-inch and comes with FHD+ display type. The both versions have 2340*1080-pixel resolution layered with 2.5D glass and here the display has protected from Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for Non-Pro version other than Pro version. Even though the non-pro version having longer display size than pro version but still the V15Pro (91.64%) has higher screen to body ratio than V15 (90.95%) because the V15Pro has minimum bezel at chin area than V15 and the pro version has very close rounded corners to the bezels than V15 smartphone.


The next major differences in between the Pro & Non-Pro version is the system on chip, the both smartphones powered in different processor and also differ from brands. But the both Processor are almost equaling in their performance & power consumption.

The V15 pro is powered with Snapdragon 675 Octa-core processor manufactured in 11nm process technology based on ARM Cortex Kryo 460 CPU clocks at 2.0GHz. The CPU architecture with 2 performance cores and 6 efficiency cores, and for graphics the snapdragon 675 SoC accompanied with Qualcomm Adreno 612 GPU where the V15 is powered with Helio P70 Octa-core processor manufactured in 12nm process technology based on 4*ARM Cortex A73 cores clocks at 2.1GHz which works for performance-oriented function and 4*ARM Cortex A53 cores clocks at 2GHz speed for power efficiency. Then Helio P70 accompanied with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU up to 900MHz frequency.

Triple Rear Camera

The V15Pro & V15 has mounted triple camera setup at the back in same design and with main camera they accompanied with 8MP wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture which captures up to 120degree and 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Here the main camera varies between the Pro & Non-Pro version where the Pro has 45MP Quad pixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture from 12MP effective pixel with the help of four in one-pixel technology and the V15 has 12MP main camera with large f/1.78 aperture capable of taking photos in 24 million pixels with help of dual pixel sensor.

Both the cameras are featured with different modes of photography with the help of Funtouch OS 9 like photo mode, bokeh mode, Night mode, HDR, Panorama, AR Stickers, Super wide-angle mode. It also has a support of AI mode which enrich the colours in each mode and more additional features. Then on video recording it supports up to 4K resolution with EIS support.


The Pro version has packed with 3700mAH battery but the non-pro version powered with 4000mAH battery then the both devices are supported with dual engine fast charging support but they are chargeable through micro USB port, also VIVO doesn’t used the USB Type C port even for their predecessor.



Then moving to the device security, the pro version has come with In-Display finger print scanning & Face unlock support where the V15 has erected with rear finger print scanning support only for security. Also, both devices are supported with additional security feature from software side with the help of Funtouch OS 9 like Screen pinning, App Encryption, File Protection, Anti-harassment and Blur feature in recent app management.
