VIVO has recently launched the VIVO Z1 Pro mobile with the punch-hole camera for the first time in their history. The mobile has offered at the price of around Rs. 15,000 which covers the mid-range segment. We have got the opportunity to unbox & experience the mobile. So, in this article, I wrote the VIVO Z1 Pro unboxing & initial impression of the mobile.  

VIVO Z1 Pro Specification

Here is the VIVO Z1 Pro specification on the paper.

Width: 77.33mm; Height: 162.39mm; Depth: 8.85mm & Weight: 201 grams.

Design:

Made in Plastic material with Reflecting Glass coating in gradient colors. The colors are reflective based on the ambient lights in the outdoor. It was designed & available in three colors,

  1. Mirror Black
  2. Sonic Black
  3. Sonic Blue (This color variant we are unboxing here)

Display:

6.53-inch IPS LCD type display, 90.77% screen to body ratio, 1080*2340 pixel resolution & 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Camera:

Front: 32MP, F/2.0 aperture. (In-Display Camera)

Rear: Triple camera with LED flash; Primary: 16MP, F/1.78, Sony IMX 499 sensor + 8MP, F/2.2, 120-degree AI super wide-angle camera + 2MP, F/2.4 for the bokeh effect.

Processor:

Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE Octa-core, 2.3GHz clock speed with dual cores & 1.7GHz clock speed with Hexa-cores.

Software:

VIVO Funtouch OS 9.0 based on Android Pie, 9.0

Memory:

It has three memory variant model,

  1. 4GB + 64GB (We Unboxing this variant)
  2. 6GB + 64GB
  3. 6GB + 128GB

Also, it has dedicated SD card support up to 256GB via memory card.

Battery:

5000mAH battery with 18W fast charging support.

Price:

Its price starting from Rs. 14,990 for base variant 4GB + 64GB. Followed by that for 6GB + 64GB & 6GB + 128GB priced for Rs. 16,990 & 17,990 respectively.

VIVO Z1 Pro Unboxing

The VIVO Z1 Pro has received in the dark blue packaging and after un-wrapping and cuts it into the box we have the small box. Inside the box, it contains instruction manuals, user guides & protective cover. After that, we get the VIVO Z1 Pro mobile followed by that, the box contains 5V, 2A charging adapter, micro USB cable & earphone.

VIVO Z1 PRO First Impression

It comes in the dimension of 77.33*162.39*8.85mm and 201 grams of weight. It made in polycarbonate plastic material and LCD glass at the rear & front respectively. We have the Sonic Blue color variant & having the memory of 4GB of RAM & 64GB internal memory.

On first sight, the mobile has very much attracted to the design. We have the Z1 Pro Sonic Blue color variant. It has designed alike glass coating with reflective lighting effects.

Also, the rear panel has filled with gradient colors having Aura green at the top & Blue color at the bottom. In addition, to the rear, it also textured with the same gradient colors at each side of the mobile.

Generally, VIVO mobiles will favor for its design, slim body & weight-less. However, it reclaims the design but fails in slim body & weight-less.

On very first lifting the mobile we feel the more weight compared to their predecessor. But it, not an issue guys just writing our thoughts. Well, leave it and go through its VIVO Z1 Pro physical overview.

 Physical Overview: VIVO Z1 PRO

Starting, from the top it has black and nothing were placed or located. Next at the mobile right side located with volume keys & power button. Similarly, at bottom arranged with 3.5mm audio jack, micro-USB port & speaker grille.

After that, at right it has located with SIM slot and it is a triple card slot supported with dual Nano SIM & one micro SD card support. On the front side, it has an LCD display in punch-hole design to house the selfie camera. Moving around the back it has triple rear camera setup with LED flash at the top-left corner, fingerprint scanner beneath and VIVO branding on the bottom.

Features & Overview: VIVO Z1 PRO

Vivo Z1 Pro sports with 6.53-inch IPS LCD type display and having punch-hole design at top-left of the corner. It has 90.77% screen to body ratio, 1080*2340 pixel resolution & 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

In terms of camera, the Vivo Z1 Pro has a triple rear camera module with LED flash support. The triple camera module includes 16MP, F/1.78 aperture main camera using Sony IMX 499 sensor, and 8MP, 120-degree AI super wide-angle camera. Finally, the third camera with 2MP for the bokeh effect.

The Vivo Z1 Pro powered by Snapdragon 712 octa-core processor with up to 2.4GHz clock speed. For graphics, it accompanied with Adreno 616 GPU. On software, it runs on top with Fun touch OS 9.0 based on Android Pie.

On storage, it combined with a maximum of 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. Also, expanded with additional storage of up to 256GB with help of SD card support. For security, the device has protected with rear-mounted fingerprint sensor & face unlock.

After that, for connectivity option, it supports with 4G VoLTE, Dual SIM with Dual-VoLTE, Nano-SIM type, Bluetooth V5.0, Wi-FI, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB 2.0 and triple SIM slot with dedicated SD card support.

Meanwhile, it’s definitely one of the best smartphones under 15K category. It will definetly competete with other midrange mobile like Galaxy M30, Redmi Note 7 Pro & Realme 3 Pro.

On using the VIVO Z1 Pro mobile for about 3 to 4 hours it really gives a good experience. The most inspired by us is its camera both on front & back. VIVO gives the good hardware & software algorithm in the camera department which really looks good compared to their predecessor.
