WhatsApp finally rolls out the WhatsApp Dark mode feature for all WhatsApp Beta users from version 2.20.14. I also included the WhatsApp beta apk link below and for the new WhatsApp dark mode feature, WhatsApp brings new settings menu so-called Display under the Chats settings option. After enabling the WhatsApp dark mode, WhatsApp switches to dark mode theme however, WhatsApp uses dark night color for a background image, yellow color for system bubbles similarly, green highlights for received chat messages. Likewise, WhatsApp dark mode feature currently enabled only for WhatsApp beta users, after confirming the critical bugs, WhatsApp Dark mode theme update receives to all stable users soon. 

How to Enable WhatsApp Dark Mode?

To enable WhatsApp dark mode, 

  • Firstly, go to settings
  • Now go the Chats options & find for the options Theme
  • Here choose an option Light, Dark or Set by Battery saver option

Light mode: It means regular WhatsApp theme used in previously.

Dark Mode: This option, will instantly switches to dark theme in WhatsApp.

Set By battery saver: This option automattically switches to darkmode, if you turn on the battery saver in phone default.

Set as Default: This option will be shown only for Android Q enabled mobiles. After enabling, this option, WhatsApp keep the dark or light theme based on mobile default theme settings.
