After the launch event for Redmi Note7 & Note7 Pro in India, Xiaomi today organized a launch event in New Delhi, India begins with the 3 announcements in the launch event, the first announcement about the MadeinIndia project that is presented by Mr. Manu Jain Kumar and the next announcement about the MI Pay application which is presented by Mr. Murali Krishnan who is the CEO of Xiaomi India. Then the final announcement is announced by Mr. Anuj Sharma the head of the Marketing department, who explained the features of RedmiGo.

The RedmiGo device is sports with 5-inch HD display with 1280*720-pixel resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and it feature Adaptive display which shows the date, time and notifications without turning on the display and it powered with same processor used in Redmi 5A which is Snapdragon 425 Quad core processor skinned on the top with Android 8.1 Oreo based on Go edition. The device has lite version of all apps installed by default for both Google apps and third-party apps. The Google apps are coming in Go edition and the third-party apps installed by default are comes under lite version.

On storage it has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage and it can be expanded in to further with the help of dedicated SD card slot up to 128GB then, on imaging department the RedmiGo has 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash support. The rear camera is supported for 1080P video recording and moving on to front it has 5MP with f/2.2 aperture with Auto HDR support.


The device is power packed with 3000mAH battery chargeable through micro USB port and other connectivity options which are 3.5mm audio jack, dual microphones for noise cancellation, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS supported.

Redmi Go device is goes for sale on 22nd March through Flipkart, and MI Home then on sale it available in blue & black colors in 1GB RAM & 8GB internal storage for the price of Rs, 4,499. Also, additionally it has come with Rs. 2200 cashback and 100GB data from JIO.
